FAQs

How should I prepare for my brow appointment?

For the best results, avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications (such as ibuprofen or aspirin) for 24 hours before your appointment. Come with your brows in their natural state — please don't tint, thread, or wax them within a week prior. Avoid retinol or AHA/BHA skincare products near the brow area for at least 5 days beforehand.

Can I have brows done if I'm on my period?

You can, but skin tends to be more sensitive around this time, which can affect both comfort and pigment retention. If possible, scheduling around your cycle will give you the smoothest experience.

What should I expect in the days after my appointment?

Your brows will appear noticeably bolder and darker immediately after — this is completely normal. Some can also experience some swelling around the brows. this should subside within a few hours. Over the following 7–14 days, the colour will soften and lighten as the skin heals. You may experience some light flaking; this is part of the process. Please resist the urge to pick or scratch. the should prolong the healing process.

How do I care for my brows while they heal?

Keep the area dry for the first 7 days — no swimming, saunas, spa treatments, heavy sweating and exposure to direct sunlight. Apply the aftercare balm provided with a clean cotton bud, minimum 3 times a day. Avoid applying makeup directly over the brows until fully healed.

When will I see the final result?

The true healed result becomes visible at around 4–6 weeks. A top-up appointment is recommended at this stage to perfect the shape and ensure even pigment retention.

Can I have microblading if I am diabetic?

Yes, but you should consult your doctor, especially if not well controlled as it can increase risk of infection and affect healing and pigment retention. This applies to all semi-permanent Makeup treatments.
