FAQs

How do I prepare for semi-permanent eyeliner?

Remove all eye makeup before your appointment. Avoid wearing contact lenses on the day — bring your glasses instead. Do not use lash serums containing prostaglandins (such as Latisse) for at least 4 weeks prior, as these can affect skin sensitivity. If you wear lash extensions, they will need to be removed at least 1 week before your treatment.

Is semi-permanent eyeliner safe for sensitive eyes?

Yes, when performed by a trained professional using high-quality pigments. If you have a history of eye conditions such as conjunctivitis, styes, or dry eye syndrome, please inform Kajal ahead of your appointment so the treatment can be tailored appropriately.

What can I expect immediately after the treatment?

Some swelling and redness along the lash line is completely normal for the first 24–48 hours. The liner will appear thicker and darker than the finished result — this softens significantly as healing takes place over 2 weeks.

How do I look after my eyes during healing?

Avoid getting the eye area wet for the first 5 days. Do not apply any eye makeup, creams, or serums near the treated area. Sleep on a clean pillowcase and avoid rubbing your eyes. If you wear contact lenses, wait at least 48 hours before reintroducing them.

How long does semi-permanent eyeliner last?

Results generally last 2–3 years. Factors such as oily skin, sun exposure, and skincare routines can influence longevity. A touch-up session is recommended every 12–18 months to maintain definition.
